The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced a temporary suspension of trading in the securities of TJGC Group Limited (TJGC). This suspension became effective at 4:00 AM ET on October 15, 2026, and is scheduled to terminate at 11:59 PM ET on October 28, 2026. TJGC is identified as a holding company that was incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and has its headquarters in Hong Kong. Prior to the SEC's formal announcement, Nasdaq had already halted trading in TJGC Grp Ltd Ord A (TJGC) at 7:50 PM ET on October 14, 2026, indicating an SEC trading suspension with halt code H10. Both the NYSE and Cboe also reported this trading halt for TJGC on Nasdaq at the same time, citing "News pending" for Cboe.
The SEC stated its action was prompted by concerns over potential manipulation in TJGC's securities. The regulator described that this potential manipulation was "effectuated through recommendations made to investors by unknown persons via social media". These recommendations encouraged investors to "purchase, hold, and/or sell the securities of TJGC" and to "send screenshots documenting their transaction". The SEC concluded that these social media recommendations "appear to be designed to artificially inflate the price and trading volume of the securities of TJGC". The temporary trading suspension was officially entered pursuant to Section 12(k) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
TJGC Group Limited operates primarily through its subsidiary, Ctrl Media Limited, which provides integrated marketing and advertising services within Hong Kong. In the wake of the SEC's suspension, Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, announced it is investigating potential securities claims on behalf of TJGC Group Limited shareholders. This investigation is based on allegations that the company "may have issued materially misleading business information to the investing public".
